Marijuana Violation Reclassification Package deal – MJNews Community

Notice of proposed legislation, including a declaration of need and tax implications

As the marijuana recreational program has grown and evolved, the Commission has sought to balance the needs and interests of licensees with public health and safety. The OLCC undertakes to work with licensees on compliance issues and to train them. The changes in this package are a revision of the way compliance measures are managed. These permanent rules re-classify violations to better reflect public health and safety risks, streamline processes for licensees and OLCC employees, and clarify the consequences of failing to comply with certain rules.
