Michigan Marijuana Regulator Proclaims Working Group on Variety, Justice and Inclusion – MJNews Community
MICHIGAN: The Marihuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) supports a Standing Working Group on Diversity, Justice and Inclusion (DEIW) to further advance the proposals of the ad hoc Working Group on Racist Equality Advice and to empower stakeholders to take responsibility for the programs, that directly impact their communities and continue to lead the agency on issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
This working group takes place every last Friday of the month. The duration is a maximum of 24 months. The conditions of the members are staggered, with new members being admitted every 8 months.
People who are interested in participating in the working group must send an email to [email protected] WORKING GROUP in the subject line – the text of the email must contain the following information:
- your name
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Job title
- The name of the employer or organization you are associated with
- A brief statement (no more than 250 words) that describes what diversity, equity and inclusion mean to you and what perspective you think you can bring to this group. Please do not include any attachments in your email
When setting up the working group, the agency takes into account all email inquiries that meet these requirements, as well as any additional relevant information. Inquiries and inquiries made by phone or to other agency contacts may not be accepted.
The deadline for the e-mail request to participate in the working group ends on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. The selection for the working group will be announced by Friday, February 12, 2021. If you are selected for a work group, you will be notified directly by the agency.
