Ohio Medical Marijuana Management Program Obligatory Product Recall – 3/16/21 – MJNews Community

OHIO: The Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program (MMCP) issues a mandatory product recall for plant material sold to pharmacies by processor GTI Ohio, LLC. This recall is initiated by the MMCP because the product did not receive the full battery of the required tests prior to being sold in pharmacies. The recalled products have not been tested for heavy metals and mycotoxins. The MMCP is investigating this matter and will issue a summary at the end of the investigation.

At this point in time, no side effects reports for this product have been reported to the MMCP.

Patients who purchased the recalled product should no longer use it. All unused products should be returned to the pharmacy at the time of purchase. Returned products do not count towards a patient’s 90-day ownership limit. For more information on returns, please contact the pharmacy where the product was purchased.
