A personal favorite for me would be COVE’s CBD oil. How have people’s habits changed during the pandemic?

The unknown has really created a space for cannabis use to be normalized. It helps to open the mind and see things in a new light that I have personally found helpful. People bought in bulk and maybe chose to use cannabis instead of alcohol.

What was the most surprising part of your job?

I think the most surprising thing is the cannabis regulations across Canada. We are now in three provinces and it is most shocking to see the huge differences between the provinces in terms of regulations, marketing and sales of cannabis. If you look at something like alcohol, there really aren’t too many major differences between provinces (albeit with the exception of the occasional legal age of 18), but with cannabis we’re not there yet. I think we will get there. We have only been legalizing TWO years, so I am still optimistic about the future of the industry.
